I’m a food illustrator and artist from Toronto, Canada.
I work in a loose and expressive style in Acrylic Gouache and Coloured Pencil. I love scribbles, marks, and brush strokes because they express the whimsy and joy I find in everyday objects. I believe that good illustration can help us see the magic in the mundane.
My creative process focuses on finding ways to slow down and be present with the world around me. In the same way, my illustrations invite the viewer to slow down and savour the details that might otherwise pass them by.
I also share about my process through my classes on Skillshare, where I’m a Top Teacher and continuous learner. I teach about Acrylic Gouache, photographing your art, and letting go of the judgment and perfectionism that stops us from creating.
